Turning Point / Big Dream

I’m combining today’s prompt with one I missed earlier since to me, they kind of go hand in hand.
I’ve been through a lot in the last year, good and bad. A tough divorce, a new relationship, coming out (again), raising a toddler that’s growing right in front of my eyes, and rediscovering my old hobby of painting that I thought I had lost to adult responsibilities and a lack of support. Vera has been so loving and encouraging, and it’s because of her that I’ve been able to explore more and dream bigger. That image in the upper right is a tattoo design I drew for her. 🖌️ You could say that all of this was my turning point.
I don’t know what’s to come and I feel like my dreams are just now coming into focus, but I have my art on the walls again, and it feels like home. I can’t wait to see what the future holds. 💗🏠 (at League City, Texas)

My go-to color pallette for the #21daysinmyartworld challenge, day 7. It was also the color scheme for my daughter’s nursery. 😍 What can I say, I love color. 🤷♀️ I usually remove one or two colors for a painting, but I just love the cool tones of this modified rainbow.

We had a diaper situation on our way to Zoo Lights tonight and realized we (naturally) didn’t have an extra outfit for Lil Bean on us. This girl told us to go back to the car and she walked to go buy her new pants. 💗💗💗
